After the success of KFC’s Fort St concept store in Auckland (see KFC Fort St Concept Store project), the decision was made to open a second urban concept store on Wellington’s Courtenay Place.
Our brief remained largely the same, but with the added challenge of a narrow space, and the question of how we’d do this one differently, maintaining the same essence but avoiding a cookie-cutter approach. We chose to highlight and work with alternative elements of KFC's brand DNA, all the while aiming to use the narrow nature of the space to our advantage.
